Marketing Manager

 

Do you love art and working with artists? We are seeking an innovative and passionate marketing manager to promote our company's artistic brand and services. In this role, you will be optimizing our marketing strategies and preparing forecasts. To ensure success, you will need extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and the ability to identify new business leads within the art and creative industries. An outstanding marketing manager will be someone whose expertise translates into increased brand awareness and profitability.

 

Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies.

  • Analyzing market trends and preparing forecasts.

  • Generating new business leads.

  • Work with relevant influencers or complementary brands to grow the company’s social following organically

  • Increasing brand awareness and target audience 

  • Work together with the production team to create compelling content for publication, media or campaigns

  • Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.

  • Preparing and presenting reports.

  • Promoting our brand at festivals, galleries and major industry-related events.

  • Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends.

 

Marketing Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or communications.

  • At least two years' experience as a marketing manager.

  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies,tools, channels, and branding.

  • Advanced knowledge of social media advertising platforms

  • Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree is a plus

  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy

  • Willingness and ability to travel

  • Established press and media contacts

 

This is a short-term position with the opportunity to become a part-time, permanent job at the end of the contract. The position lasts anywhere from three months to a year, Selected candidate must be available to give a commitment of 10 hrs/month.

Pay range: 

$38/ hr

Video & Photographer

 

 

We are seeking a skilled videographer and photographer to shoot and edit marketing content for primarily artistic and educational focused content. 

Some gear can be provided if necessary.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about art, storytelling and creative lifestyle and is looking to join a vibrant production team. They are detail-oriented, have high personal standards of work, and are a quick learner who take initiative to constantly evolve and improve. They love having a structured, repetitive work week but can go with the flow when necessary. Our ideal candidate is a pro at time management and comfortable working with minimal supervision and meeting deadlines. They work hard and like to have fun doing it. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Photographing Tara Vahab’s products, for a variety of digital and print uses but primarily for our website and catalog. 

  • Videographing & editing art projects in progress, “How To” videos and some video blogs. 

  • Photography for social media & editorial as needed. including color correction, retouching and cropping as needed.

  • Ensuring photography files are uploaded to our system to be showcased on our website.

  • Following a script, screenplay or outline

  • Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs

  • Inputting graphics to enhance footage

  • Improving and correcting lighting, coloring of footage and uploading content on our channels 

  • Working closely with production team to present a final product that matches our vision

  • Record keeping and organization of files & data. 

  • Plan, setup and breakdown of video and photoshoots. 

  • Participating in weekly and monthly team meetings. 

Job Required Knowledge, Skills and Education: 

  • Minimum 2 years of video and photography experience, preferably cinematic and product photography

  • Experience with professional photography equipment, DSLR camera and lighting 

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere or Final cut pro, Photoshop and Lightroom. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Filmmaking or Communication is a plus

  • Proficiency with online marketing, web administration, content creation and social media strategy

  • Willingness and ability to travel 

  • Drone is a plus as well

$27/ hr
